Legendary Animals and Seasonal Mini-games!

This was an amazing week! Thanks to all of you amazing people we not only passed our goal but also reached 2 stretch goals!
Now besides all the tamable animals in the island there will also be 3 legendary animals roaming the lands from time to time. Those animals will be harder to find and tame, but will give you special benefits if they are in your farm.

We've been hard at work this week working on the taming system and making new habitats for our animals.
.
We will also have special mini-games in each season! Each season will be 30 in-game days and will have special flowers, activities, unlockables and now mini-games as well! Water-gun fights in the summer, snowball fights in the winter, building snowmen and more!

Halloween Update this October
Just over a week ago we announced the Halloween Update that is coming this October for the Alpha Backers! We have tallied up the results from the Kickstarter comments as well as other sources and have the winners! These costumes will be in for a limited time this spooky season!
Stretch Goals
Thanks to 500+ incredible backers we have reached our goal!! We are so thankful and excited for the launch of Garden Paws!
With our goal being hit we posted the stretch goals on the Kickstarter page!

The last few days have been incredible, we have just passed 25% funded!! Thank you to the 125+ people that have chosen to support our Kickstarter!
We are preparing for the Alpha backers now with unique skins, costumes and a themed glider. All of these will only be available October and early November this year, right after the launch to Alpha backers! (But don't worry we will continue doing exclusive themed items throughout 2019!)
We will be posting updates throughout the month, and will continue to be active on Kickstarter Live, as well as Twitch and Discord.

Wow, 50% funded in under 10 days! Thank you Game Jolt and Kickstarter for featuring us, and we welcome everyone that's new to Garden Paws!
The Switch Tier has been added!
After listening to the community we contacted Nintendo and we are able to add the Switch tier to the Kickstarter! Garden Paws will be coming out sometime in 2019 for the Switch, unfortunately we cannot give an exact month but we will keep you updated as we go.
As Bitten Toast Games, we have released 2 games in the past on the Switch and are excited to make it 3! Stay tuned for more!
October Halloween Update
We have been focusing on getting some exciting content in for the October Halloween Update! The Halloween update will only be available during October and part of November.
Why a Halloween update?
Kristina, Game Designer: Growing up I loved Halloween but especially making costumes and decorating the house with friends and family. We are still focusing on keeping the cute relaxing elements that Garden Paws currently holds. With that, the decorations are completely optional and will not have any added stat value.
We have quite a few ideas on what items we are planning on adding to the Halloween Update, like Jack-O-Lanterns, Costumes, Bat wings glider skin, and a themed furniture set.
We always want to hear from you and what you'd like to see in the Halloween update! Please leave your suggestions in the comments!
Twitch Integration
Over the last couple of days you may have seen us on Twitch and Discord talking about Twitch Integration and we're happy to say it has been 100% implemented!
If you stream on Twitch you will be able to link your account so your viewers may interact with you.
There are a couple ways to do this, the main feature is that any viewer in your chat for the past 6 minutes will appear as a customer shopping while your shop is open.
There are two other exciting features we added. The first is an in game Twitch chat overlay. The other has to do with the customers showing up in your shop. If you have the option enabled, any emote that your twitch viewers type in chat, will show up over their head!

Over the past few days several people joined our Discord to chat with us and share ideas and feedback and we're loving it! If you'd like to talk about the game please join our Discord.
